Space UK

The UK space industry is a fast-growing sector, valued at around £16.5 billion, with goals to capture 10% of the global market by 2030. It supports 47,000 jobs and focuses on satellite technology, spaceports, space research, and data services. The UK Space Agency (UKSA) drives the sector, supported by the "National Space Strategy," which emphasizes innovation, commercial growth, and international collaboration. While facing challenges like global competition and post-Brexit regulations, the industry is poised for future growth in areas like space launches and new technologies.

Here is a selection of images I captured at various facilities across the UK including RAL Space, SSTL and Astrium.
